Amazon hikes free shipping minimum to $49 for non-Prime members

If you aren’t an Amazon Prime member, you are going to have to spend more to get your packages delivered for free.



Amazon has raised its minimum for free shipping for non-Prime members to $49.

According to the company’s website, customers must spend at least $49 on eligible items to qualify for free shipping. The company’s previous spending threshold was $35 for free shipping.

Those who spend $25 on books will still get their order shipped for free, according to Amazon’s website.
