Two local theaters will let you watch a kid-friendly movie for just $1 this summer.

Cinemark plans to bring back its annual “Summer Movie Clubhouse,” which lets theater goers watch recent G and PG-rated movies on selected mornings for ten weeks throughout the summer. The cost of admission: $1 per person, or catch all 10 movies for $5.
Two local theaters — the Cinemark Palace 20 & XD in Boca Raton and the Cinemark Boynton Beach 14 & XD in Boynton Beach – are participating in the promotion.
Showtimes for the Boca theater are 10 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Click here to see a list of movies.
The Boynton Beach theater will show the $1 movies at 10 a.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Click here to see a list of movies.
The company said some of this year’s films will include “The Sandlot,” “Max,” “Pan,” “The Peanuts Movie,” “Home,” and “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.”
The Summer Movie Clubhouse ten-week series card is available at the theaters or online as a bundled option at Cinemark.com, while supplies last.
