The upgrades will make it possible for the sites to handle more network traffic, enhancing reliability and overall service performance, the company said in a news release.

AT&T has spent nearly $900 million over a 3-year-period to upgrade wireless and wireline networks in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, the company said.

“We work hard to deliver a great network experience for our customers wherever they live, work, or play,” said AT&T Florida President Joe York. “That’s why we continue to invest in our South Florida networks.”

In Palm Beach County, the upgrades are expected to boost coverage in the following areas: Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Jupiter, Lake Worth, Loxahatchee, Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach, Wellington, West Boca, and West Palm Beach.
