All Aboard’s Brightline to hold “Topping Out” ceremony at Ft. Lauderdale station site

All Aboard Florida’s Brightline train service will hold a “Topping Out” ceremony on Friday at the site of the company’s passenger station in downtown Fort Lauderdale.


The event marks a milestone for station’s construction — signifying that work on the project has reached its top elevation.

Brightline president Michael Reininger, Bob Moss, Chairman & CEO of Moss & Associates, the construction company building the station, along with a number of Broward County leaders are expected to attend the event.

Brightline plans to run 32 trains a day along the Florida East Coast Railway tracks with stops in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando. The company plans to launch service between Miami and West Palm Beach in mid-2017.
