Evelyn & Arthur, a Palm Beach County-based woman’s apparel chain, is selling pashminas to help raise money for a handful of local charities this year.

Each month, the retailer will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from its specially-colored pashminas to a different charity.

The pashminas cost $28.

The company launched the pashmina program about five to six years ago, and officials say they are regularly approached by charities who want to participate.

This year’s schedule of charities that will benefit from the sale include:

January – pink pashmina sales support Susan G. Komen South Florida and breast cancer research (Adrianne is a survivor!)

February – red pashmina sales support the American Heart Association and Go Red for Women heart health awareness campaign

March – orange pashmina sales support the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network

April – blue pashmina sales support autism support and work

May – orange pashmina sales support The Great Give, an online giving campaign through the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin counties

Evelyn & Arthur has nine stores across Florida, including four Palm Beach County locations.
