Burlington plans to open a 42,000-square-foot store in space that once housed  The Sports Authority. The building is located at 20851 S. State Road 7.

The Sports Authority announced in May that it would close all 460 of its stores across the country.

In 2015, Burlington opened a 55,000-square-foot store on Okeechobee Boulevard just west of Interstate 95. That store also opened in space that once housed a Sports Authority.

Burlington also has stores in Royal Palm Beach and Boynton Beach.
