The experts at the money-saving website FatWallet.com say Super Bowl sales are also a good time to stock up on party supplies, drinks and snack food.
The website’s experts have put together these tips to help you find the best deals during this year’s Super Bowl sales.
1. Food Deals — Folks can stock up on snacks and beverages on sale for party goers, yet perfect for other upcoming parties and celebrations. Everything from chips and dips to soda and beer, chili ingredients, disposable serving items and other frozen/storable items can be found at big discounts, especially at big box and grocers.
2. Valentine Deals — Sales have already kicked off and Super Sunday offers a great time to get Valentine-related shopping out of the way, whether in-store (no crowds) or online, as heightened discounting that happens on Super Bowl weekend could generally apply to certain Valentine’s Day gifts, as well. Watch for special branded offers on social media during the game.
3. Entertainment Deals — It may be the perfect timing to avoid crowds, get prime seating, as well as find a good deal. Sites like Groupon and Living Social promote savings up to half off many of these local activities, Restaurant.com and other restaurants will have special offers, as will movie theaters, see Fandango for BOGO ticket specials on Super Bowl weekend.
