Palm Beach County commissioners on Tuesday will consider a proposal to build a 120-room hotel on the grounds of the Palm Beach International Airport.
Under the proposal, the hotel’s developer CVH PBIA, LLC would lease roughly 3 acre of land from the airport for a 50-year period. The company would be required to pay the airport an annual rent of $156,816 or 3.5 percent of the hotel’s revenues — whichever is greater.
The plan calls for a Home 2 Suites by Hilton — a limited service, all-suite hotel — to be built on the property. The site is located at the northeast corner of the airport’s grounds.
