Silver Airways on Thursday will launch new non-stop service between Palm Beach International Airport and Bimini.
“We are thrilled to continue expanding our already robust network between Florida and the Bahamas with new service between West Palm Beach and Bimini,” Silver Airways CFO and Executive Vice President Jason Bewley said in a statement released by the company.
The new flights will be available four days a week, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Bimini at 9:40 a.m. The one-hour return flight to Palm Beach International Airport departs Bimini at 12:10 p.m., and from there, offers two connecting flights in to Tampa International Airport.
To celebrate the new route, Resorts World Bimini is offering a $100 resort credit to any guest who arrives on the new flights. The promotion is available through May 25.
From West Palm Beach, Silver also offers nonstop service to Nassau and Marsh Harbour (Abacos), as well as Tampa. The company also plans to begin offering service between West Palm Beach and Key West.
Silver operates a fleet of 34-seat Saab 340B Plus turboprop aircraft.
