Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, a Broward County-based chain known for its burritos, outdoor patios and fresh salsa bar, plans to open seven new locations in the next 2 years, including at least two in Palm Beach County.
Lime Fresh currently has six restaurants in South Florida and two on-campus locations at the University of Miami and Texas A&M University. The chain’s only Palm Beach County location — on State Road 7 in west Boca — opened last year.
Lime Fresh plans to open a new location at 3331 Northlake Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens next month, the chain said in a press release. Another Palm Beach County location is planned in West Palm Beach, it said.
Lime Fresh touts its fresh ingredients. The chain says it offers a healthier, fresh alternative to Mexican food, including its homemade salsa, sauces and sides, which are prepared on-site.
Food is also prepared without the use of use of microwaves or freezers, the company has said. The menu includes homemade guacamole, queso dip, nachos, tacos, burritos, salads and soups.
“Lime fanatics crave our unique offerings because we serve real, freshly-made-to-order food accompanied by an enthusiastic staff that really enhances the guest experience,” Joey Belmont, CEO of Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, said in a statement.
