Franchise owner Seema Matani, an avid baker, said she decided to open the shop after learning about the Las Vegas based company from her sister. Matani’s franchise opened about three months ago in a storefront on State Road 7 just south of Southern Boulevard. In addition to cakes, the shop offers a variety of Mother’s Day-themed gifts.
