“There will be nearly 50 Lego models throughout the mall, including characters from The Lego Batman Movie, Marvel Comics and DC Comics Super Heroes, Lego Ninjago, and Disney princesses,” the website says.

Mall visitors (both kids and adults) can also build their own creations in the shopping hub’s Nordstrom Court.

There will be an area where Lego lovers can make a race car out of bricks, and then race it down special ramps.  Shoppers can also put their Lego creations on display in a special art gallery, the website said.

Italian boutique to open first U.S. location in Palm Beach Gardens

Antica Sartoria, an Italian boutique known for its causal beach-chic style, will open its first U.S. location on Thursday at Downtown at the Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens.

Palm Beach County resident Renee Schaefer decided to bring the brand to Palm Beach Gardens after visiting Italy last year.

The 1,200-square-foot boutique is located on the ground floor next to the shopping hub’s center court. The store offers a variety of rare items, including blouses, embellished denim, bathing suits, printed cover-ups, dresses, caftans, necklaces and boho-inspired beach bags. Designer Giacomo Cinque only makes a certain number of each item, which are sold at 16 stores throughout Italy and will also be available at the new Palm Beach Gardens location.

“We walked into a store in Capri and fell in love everything about the collection and the beachy chic vibe the brand represents,” Schaefer said. “Designer Giocomo Cinque has done an exquisite job creating fresh, inspiring and statement-making pieces that women and children feel gorgeous wearing.”

The Palm Beach County location is a change for Schaefer, who with her husband, Curtis Sigretto, currently owns two local Halloween Express franchise locations.

Sigretto, who founded Halloween Express in 1989 and served as president of more than 220 stores, will serve as the boutique’s consultant. Wayne Jenkins, the founder of Wellington-based Captive One Insurance, is the lead investor.

But when the company rolls out its next big product, the “it Bed” in the fall, you won’t find it any of the regional stores, or in any other Sleep Number’s 500 locations.

It will only be sold online.

The company bills the it Bed as high-tech assisted sleep. It will, among other features, track your heart and breathing rates hundreds of times as you sleep. The goal is to better help know how to adjust the adjustable bed.

And if you think adjustable beds and other ways of dealing with issues like snoring are for older people, guess again.

“Snoring is a big issue for many people,” said Pete Bils, Sleep Number’s vice president for sleep research. “It affects not just by age, but also by weight and lifestyle.”
