Deal Alert: This store is closing in PB Outlets

Stride Rite, a national children’s shoe retailer, is closing its doors at the Palm Beach Outlets and most items are 50 percent off.

According to an email set to customers, the store will be closing on March 26. All sales are final.

“Have you heard the not‑so‑good news?” the email says. “Your local Palm Beach Outlets Stride Rite store will be closing 3/26/2017, but the good news is that the entire store is 50% off. Shop now for the best selection.”

The Stride Rite store in the outlets is the company’s only location in Palm Beach County, according to its website. There is one other South Florida store — in Miami Dade County.

 

TooJay’s opens at the Palm Beach Outlets

TooJay’s has opened its doors at the Palm Beach Outlets.

The growing restaurant chain, known for its sandwiches, comfort foods, soups and cakes,  officially opened its 28th location in Florida at the West Palm Beach shopping hub on Sept. 1. TooJay’s is located on the southeast corner of the mall’s property next to Express Factory Outlet.

“Shopping can make you hungry and now you’ll have a great, new dining option to choose,” said Pam Rada, marketing director of Palm Beach Outlets. “We believe our customers will not only enjoy TooJay’s varied menu but the convenient location of the restaurant as well.”

TooJay’s celebrated the grand opening of its new Wellington location in July.
