From 1 to 2 p.m., customers each can grab one free tall handcrafted espresso drink at the Starbucks by the Palm Beach Outlets, 1815 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.
It’s part of Starbucks’ 10 Days of Cheer, where 100 stores each day will offer free espresso drinks for an hour during the afternoon. Customers can get anything from a mocha to a flat white to a chestnut praline latte, the company said.
Customers also can grab a “Cheer Card” while they’re picking up their free coffee. The Cheer Cards will have special offers, including 50 percent off certain beverages or food items, or free cookies.
The 10 Days of Cheer started Dec. 23 and ends Jan. 2. Each day, a new 100 stores will be announced at www.starbuckscheer.com.
Other Florida cities with stores taking part today: Winter Park, Callaway, Melbourne, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa.
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is offering a complimentary small order of Meatballs with Ricotta Cheese to any active or former United States Armed Forces personnel on Friday, November 11. In addition, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza restaurants will be dropping off complimentary lunch to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Centers in a dozen of the brand’s regions throughout Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
Guests must provide proof of military service, which includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform or wearing uniform, DD214, Citation or Commendation.
This year all current and former military personnel will also receive a $5 coupon that can be redeemed between November 12 and November 27, 2016.
All active duty military, reserves, national guard, military spouses and retired military with a valid U.S. military ID and veterans with ID can buy a burrito and get a second one for free from 3 p.m. to close on Veteran’s Day. The offer is available at all Chipotle restaurants in the US and is valid on burritos, bowls, salads and taco orders.
On Veterans Day, Duffy’s will donating 5 percent of its total company sales for the day to Veterans. The chain plans to split the sales amount between the Honor Flight and Forgotten Soldiers Outreach programs. The program is estimated to generate up to $10, 000 for Veterans causes.
The promotion is available at participating U.S. IHOP locations between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Select IHOP restaurants will also offer a combo of two eggs, hash browns and choice of two bacon strips or pork sausage links as part of the Red, White & Blue Pancake promotion for retired and active duty military personnel.
Proof of service includes: US Uniformed Services ID Card, US Uniformed Services Retired ID Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), veterans organization card (i.e. American Legion, VFW, etc.), photograph of self in US military uniform, wearing uniform, DD214, military dog tags, and citation or commendation.
The restaurant will offer offer all veterans and military personnel a complimentary original taco and fountain drink. The promotion is valid at all Lime Fresh locations, excluding college campuses. Guests must show military IDs.

The newly opened Nick & Johnny’s Osteria, in Juno Beach will donating 10 percent of gross sales for the day of November 11th to honor Veterans. Nick & Johnny’s has partnered with the Renewal Coalition of Jupiter to support a local Veterans cause.
Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of Winn-Dixie stores, has launched a Veterans Day Wall of Honor community donation program in all stores. Now through November 15, customers and associates can show their support for veterans of the armed forces by making a donation at checkout to benefit Hope For The Warriors, an organization that provides service members, veterans and military families that are focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement and connections to community resources.
Moms who are accompanied by a child will receive any breakfast sandwich and small beverage. There is no purchase necessary. The offer is available for dine-in only, and limited to one free offer per customer.
The mall said it plans to give away free carnations to mothers as a “thank you for all they do.”
The giveaway begins at noon and will be available while supplies last.

Subway announced this week that it will be giving out free breakfast sandwiches during the entire month of May — but there is a catch.
To qualify for the free deal, customers are required to purchase a sub for lunch, AND they have to complete their order before 9 a.m.
Under the buy-one-get-one offer, customers who purchase any sub (6 inch or footlong) before 9 a.m. will receive a free 6-inch breakfast sandwich.
